Decals
These look to be good quality and include stencil markings. You can build one of four options that are included in the kit. Here are two of them and you’ll see from the Gallery of photos here that two further options are available to you.
Option A – Hawker Typhoon MK.1B, MN666 ‘CG’ Aircraft flown by Wing Commander Charles Green, No. 121 Wing, Royal Air Force Holmsley South, Hampshire, England and B.5 Le Fresne-Camilly, Lower Normandy, France, June 1944
Option B – Hawker Typhoon MK.1B, DN252 ‘ZY-N’ No. 247 Squadron, 2nd Tactical Air Force, France and Belgium, June-September 1944
Instructions
You get a full A4 book featuring 47 pages and I urge you to read this very carefully, especially before you start as you need to decide which of the three options you’ll want to complete in terms of fit: engine on display, or not, gun bays etc.

What’s the verdict?
Really very impressive – excellent model in fact just from looking at the parts in the box and studying the sprues in detail. Options available add a great deal to the package and all at a price that looks to be very reasonable when you look at the contents. Plenty of decal options too with the only real negative, that split canopy so let’s hope the new one arrives before we get to that stage of the build. Quite simply the most comprehensive, detailed kit Airfix has ever produced.
Highly Recommended
