This is an unusual looking vehicle for sure and one that I can’t recollect seeing before. It entered service in 43 and was used up to and beyond the end of the war.
On opening the box you get the usual crisp mouldings that you come to expect from Dragon.
Also there is a small amount of Photo-etch brass included along with some clear parts and some fine string. The instructions are clear and should be easy to follow.
After glancing through the frets and going through the instructions it is time to start to bring this prehistoric looking beast to life.
I started by building the Flathead engine which is a nice little kit in itself. This went together really easily and took no time at all.
I continued the build with the wheels, firstly rubbing down their surface to eradicate the seam lines then assembling all the various chassis parts in their own small groups.
After a minor clean up of seam lines and connecting pin marks all these parts were first test fitted then fixed on the chassis.
