The cab…
I started by trimming up the side contact points and fixed on the fuel cans, which are very fine in detail.
The doors were fixed on next. One of which I have glued on in the open position for added interest to the finished model. The doors are well detailed as is the interior so it will be a shame to cover this detail up.
The tools were put on the sides and then I superglued on the small brass side view shutters. I chose to do one open and one closed – this adds additional interest to the finished model.
I added the front fenders and connected the cab sides to the cab floor. The seats were then added which Dragon have done a nice job on and their detail is very convincing. The gear levers were then added. All of this is quite straightforward and should prove to be an easy build for the intermediate modeller.
