I first applied two coats of Mig productions Filter for traditional camo. This ages the paint in appearance and ties all the previous stages together. Make sure it is dry between coats. Add as much or as little as you wish to desired taste but make sure you cover the whole vehicle on the first coat.
Now this for me is where the fun really begins. Putting in the chips on the paintwork and making the whole thing look like it has seen some serious action. I paint on with a diluted mix of Vallejo German Dark Brown / black paint and a very fine tipped brush to add fine chips in places of wear and tear. Keep these random and add more for desired effect until you are satisfied with the look. When dry I added a further coat and some pin washes with the filter used earlier.
