Some negative chipping was then added which is a lighter colour green painted very carefully around the dark chips. You may find it easier to paint the light green first followed by the dark grey inside the green. I do it both ways, just what takes my fancy at the time.
Now I have decided to add the lights, carefully painted silver on the back of the housing. Followed by the Olive Drab and a filter applied once dry.
Note how the filters have also doubled up as the weathering for the wheels and tyres – looking like dried dirt and dust.
Certainly looking the part now and for anyone who knows my work you will know I like the worn and weathered look.
