Turret
The gun is glued into its place in the turret. I was a bit concerned here that the turret top wouldn’t “seat” into the lower half bearing in mind how crushed the space in the turret is.
The problem I mentioned before is evident here – the supports for the floor do not reach up to the “ring” from the bottom of the jig. My crew are definitely going to be seasick as the turret revolves! As it is not visible, when assembled, I have not corrected it.
As I mentioned before the aerial supplied for the middle rear of the turret does not correspond with the photos I have of the tank in service at the end of WW2. I used some scrap brass and solder to make one that seemed to represent the photos. All the rest of the bits were secured onto the turret and from now on there is almost no safe place to touch it.
