SMN launches e-Newsletter…
Really pleased to announce that we’ll be launching our first regular e-Newsletter next week.
Here’s some of the reasons why this will be good for you:
- You’ll be able to hear first about many of the new features, articles, photo sets, gallery entries, news, latest products and so on here in your newsletter
- How you can get the best out of your SMN subs – there’s so much in SMN for you to explore and enjoy that will directly help you to get more from your scale modelling
- A chance to hear about latest techniques and HD videos added and what’s coming to your Techniques Bank
- Hear about competitions and prizes we have planned for the coming year
- Hear about new innovations and some of our exciting and creative plans for SMN before they happen
- Loads of other news…!
Basically this is our opportunity to communicate with you – apart from when you read editorials from me of course!
Rob has recently joined our SMN team and is going to lead the way with our e-newsletter with me fully involved too of course, so if you hear from him you’ll know who he is!
Keep an eye out, it’s on the way…
Talk to me team….!
I really want to hear from you about what you’d like to see in what is after all YOUR SMN (Ok, our SMN…). There’s a good chance we have talked personally at one of the shows, indeed you may well have subscribed at one after talking to Sara, me or one of the guys so I want you to know that I will and do take on board what you say.
Here’s how you can influence the content of SMN:
- Suggest subjects and kits for build articles and reviews
- Techniques you’d like to see added to your Techniques Bank
- Subjects for the Photo Reference Library (PRL)
- Send in your pics of models you’ve built for your Subscribers’ Gallery – you must have one or more models you’re happy with and could share in the gallery? I would love to see them and I bet many others would too.
- Letters to the Editor – send them in or e-mail them in, I’d like to make these a regular feature in SMN and my editorial, so please do speak to me about anything in the hobby, SMN, the industry that you’d like to comment on and we can share discussion on it
- Get involved on Facebook (FB), say help and check in with Scale Modelling Now and or Geoff Coughlin – it’s all one and the same in terms of contact. This has been a great success and I have made some fantastic FB Friends there so why not join in and chat! As you know we don’t have a forum on SMN, that’s what Facebook is designed for now, so please do drop in and check out and talk with many of your fellow subscribers and other modellers connected to me and us here at SMN.
