Zoukei-Mura’s Mustang IV kit
This release follows the initial P-51D Mustang kit a couple of years ago. James G did a Here Now in-box review of that P-51D at that time and now we have essentially the same kit, plus new parts for the British Mk.IV supplied on a separate sprue, plus new decal options for RAAF and RAF Mustang IVs and two additional American aircraft, both famous P-51D/K subjects.
You certainly get an impressively well-packaged kit with plenty of separate bags and packaging to protect the refined grey plastic sprues; note the silver and coloured plastic of the original release has gone (great decision!).
You’ll be able to see all the sprues and parts in the galleries that follow so take your time studying them and you’ll see what a finely tooled product ZM has produced for us. Here are some of the manufacturer’s photos of their models completed in the marking provided and they certainly make you want to get started.
