Initial thoughts
This was a strange build for me. 1:72 is not a scale I build very often and certainly not when it comes to armour. The manufacturer, ModelCollect in China, is not a company I am familiar with either. But when I saw a range of their kits come into stock at scalemodelshop.co.uk I was intrigued by the variety of T70 to T90 variants they produce so I bought this one to see what they were like.

On with the build
I had no preconceptions of how this would go so I decided to just follow the instructions which start off on the turret.
Being 1:72 there is not a vast amount of parts but there is enough to feel like you are building a proper kit. First off, prep and clean up the turret top and bottom halves, the single part gun barrel and the barrel pivot.
The horizontal split of the turret is cleverly designed using the reactive armour overlap to hide the seam around the front edges but the seam at the sides needs to be carefully aligned as it is a plain flat surface.
