Full review with Geoff Coughlin
F1 + AR of 7/St.G77, 1941 operated during The Battle of The Bulge in 1941 and this model depicts a Junkers Ju87B from that unit at around that time.
Just before we get going, here’s a quick look at how it all turned out…
Background
Ben S is writing a book on the Battle of The Bulge that includes model content and needed a Junkers Ju87B-2 Stuka and asked if I could help and this is the result – hope you like it?
Unusually for me, I’m writing these words with the model finished, the whole thing was done and dusted in two weeks and so I can say that the Airfix kit is excellent across the board – great detail, moulding quality and fit of parts, really very impressed and I’d definitely like to build other versions if they release them.
Accessories used
• Decals: ROP o.s. Junkers Ju87B Stuka Part 3 (Ref: MDFD L48041)
• Quickboost resin seats
• Mask canopy masking set (PK48093).

There are a few videos later on in the build covering some of the techniques I used.
