Conclusion
I was happy with this kit and in all the flaws was minimal and easy to fix. The panel lines may be a little too deep, but are easily masked with weathering. Having never completed a successful Spitfire kit in this scale I was relieved that I finally did it. Completed on the 5th March, it tied in well as this is the date of the Spitfire’s first flight, and my daughter’s birthday! Well done Airfix; an accurate and enjoyable build.
