More painting
I decided at this point to get the majority of the painting done on the wings, starting with the wing centre outer Arctic Red panels, these need a white primer undercoat first.
Following these with the Medium Sea Grey centre panel surfaces.
Importantly ensure to mask the flap area to prevent overspray and ensure the photo-etch has a good mating surface later.
The leading and trailing edges can now be finished in our metallic coat, repeating the shades used on the tailplane surfaces earlier.
The forward tip of the engines have an Aluminium finish, which is then masked off for the highly polished Chrome finish on the engine centre.
At the rear of the nacelles are an exhaust plate which is finished in Dark Burnt Metal.
Removing all the masking we now have our mostly completed and painted wings.
