All the other bits
Happily there is a PE overlay for the interior of the rear pair of doors, but some more of those heavy injection pins to remove first.
Handles are from the spares box and as the overlay interferes with the kit clear parts for the window portal, this is made from Micro Krystal Klear. Some decals from the spares box add the last little detail.
The main entrance hatch also has a very neat overlay for the steps.
Next to the kit part it is such a lovely improvement. Rather than trim down the kit door panel I just used some stock styrene card for the outer skin.
Again some spare decals finish off this neatly.
The landing gear benefits from brake lines and as I am using aftermarket resin wheels, a stronger attachment is needed with some brass rod.
To ensure a strong fit it was best to clamp in place and leave overnight to set fully.
Compared to the kit wheels, the aftermarket resin is well worth the expense.
The undercarriage doors can now be fitted with the main gear doors getting landing lights from the spares bin.
