Finishing up
After a nice coat of clear gloss to prevent silvering the Frog supplied decals can be added for the aircraft of your choice.
I found the decals very fine, you pretty much had to get them right on target the first time applied as they didn’t like to move around much. Certainly if any decal softener was applied they would break up, so watch out.
Main landing gear is all located on one sprue and can be pre-painted along with the nose gear.
The gear is very fine and care needs to be taken to get them off the sprue without damage. I initially thought it was too flimsy, but once the glue sets they become quite a strong anchor to sit on.
Now she sits up on her legs proudly, very Falconish…
We really don’t have much left to do here.
Weapons pylons are single parts, so no joints to tidy up there and the centerline and wing fuel tanks fit well with no seams.
I wanted to follow my primary reference photo, so the wingtip sidewinders were adapted to resemble the drill rounds.
