Mr Surfacer 500 was used to fill wing root gaps. Plastic tubing was used to replace the gun camera which was lost when sanding the wing leading edge. Eduard’s masking set JX005 was used to mask the clear parts.
M Surfacer 500 was also used to fill the join line that passes through the gun access panel. Stretched sprue was used to add the weld on supercharger intake. Clean-up of the sprue-glue experiment scars can also be seen.
The assembled model was undercoated with Floquil Old Silver enamel.
The unpainted centre wing section was masked off before the underside painting the RLM76 began.
