UHU Yellow Tac was used to mask out the distinctive RLM76 areas on the engine cowling panels
The RLM 75 was painted using a 1:1 mix of XF-1 and XF-24, followed by a 1:3 mix of XF-24 and XF-82 Ocean Grey RAF. Contrasting light and dark shades were added using XF-19 and XF-54 Dark Sea grey and
RLM83 on the fuselage sides and horizontal flying surfaces was painted using XF-81 Dark Green RAF
The brighter RLM82 on the empennage was painted using a 1:3 mix of XF-4 Yellow Green and XF-58 Olive Green.
The fuselage sides were then mottled with the various grey and green shades
