Detailing of the undercarriage and the dry fitting of the GBU-10’s! These were lightly weathered/dry brushed in a light grey to bring out the surface detail. The rear undercarriage at this point is only dry fitted and will be installed once all weathering is completed.
Once the decals are complete, we can work on the latter part of the kit. This is the part of the kit that I look forward to the most. The majority of the weathering is carried out with MIG wash, and pastels.
I have also added a few photos from my collection through the past year or two to give you an idea on how the jet looks in real life. I think I have gone a little over the top on the weathering, but I wanted mine to look really grimy!
