The long finish!
I have encountered some problems with the parts list when it came to trying to equate the number of the undercarriage items with the photos in the instructions. The parts numbered to perform their various functions do not either fit or exist.
In the end I have measured out the ones that look right and will install them and I have made up the missing parts (so far only installed on the main undercarriage legs but not weathered yet).
Although there is not much further to go the model is quite delicate and the handling is a problem and I guess that once I have the flaps in place it will be even more difficult to handle.
I have weathered the underside, basically to produce a MiG that has seen plenty of service. Apparently they were not kept in pristine condition in service.

There are no fixing points for the undercarriage doors and no obvious ones for the flaps.
The decals have settled pretty well and stood up to work I did on the paint.
Some more weathering to do on the top and install the aerials and cockpit canopy.
The forward part of the canopy was not a very good fit and a lot of filler was used (as you can see ) to make “good”.
The detail on the surfaces is excellent and with a bit more weathering it should be quite impressive.
It is done !
Here are the final construction instructions. I have left out the decals as these are not a problem although there is not a great choice of schemes.
