Underside
There are a lot of items to attach including guns, various blisters etc. I have to put the riveted surrounds to the two Perspex location finders (?) towards the rear but it has tak-en some time to achieve a smooth base to put them on.
The 7mm space, where the two halves join, was where the casting block was attached and once it was cut away it left an unsightly blank unmarked surface. This had to be smoothed out and all the surface detail married up to match both sides.
These large casting blocks should be renamed “casting blots”

The bay is now painted and weathered.
The wing structure that is on view has been painted in chrome but will be dulled down before attaching the aileron. The fixing for these are incredibly delicate and they will have to be put in place right at the end.
There are no holes for the aileron fixings and I have not tried drilling the brass as yet. I think that they will have a tendency to end up in your lap!
