Next came the windscreens but before fitting them in place I masked off both the inside and the outside framing. The inside was sprayed interior green and the masking removed before fitting them to the fuselage.
The inner struts were fitted at this point but in hindsight I would have left them off until later on in the build as their attachment points aren’t very robust as I again found out later on!

The wings and tailplanes are very straightforward with just two parts to the upper wing (upper and lower halves) and three for the lower wings (lower half and upper left and right halves. The tailplanes follow the same format with separate elevators so these can be positioned of neutral if desired. One observation is the fixing of the rudder in place; the three joint points are very small and the thickness of the rudder doesn’t really make replacing them with brass wire that practical. This means the rudder will have to be fixed on using the kit tabs and this will be a weak point that I can’t really see a way around.
Well that then sees the main construction complete.
