Decaling
Prior to decaling the model was given a gloss coat of Tamiya X-22 and Gunze Self Levelling thinner mixed with a ratio of 50/50. This minimises any chance of silvering.
The decals themselves are great in respect that they are very thin with minimal carrier film but on the reverse side this has meant that a lot of care needs to be taken when applying them. They stick in position very quickly so make sure you put down a layer of water so you can move them into position and when doing this be careful as they damage easily due to their thinness.
Once down and dry they were sealed in with another gloss coat.
