Rigging
This is probably the part that puts most modellers off doing a biplane but if you approach it in a logical order its actually quite a straightforward process. The kit has small indentations moulded into the wings, fuselage and tailplanes to indicate the rigging locations. Firstly, these were enlarged with a pin that’s held in a pin vice so that the rigging Lyrca thread will sit in the enlarged hole. The tailplane rigging was done first and then the rigging was attached to the lower wing and rigging points on the fuselage struts – the upper wing is not attached at this point.
