So now we are ready to bring the interior capsule together.
Starting with the port wall, the fit isn’t all that good to the forward bulkhead so a sturdy clamp and left to set overnight made sure the structure was solid.
The seats speak for themselves, not that they are very accurate in the form of the webbing, but as they lurk deep inside this beast they won’t be clearly seen and I see no point in rectifying that. Some simple lap belts made with 1mm Tamiya tape with painted buckles I think look better than the raised seatbelt detail on the seats.
Just to add a little more realism to the interior and also to cover up a gap in the joint, there is a crew bag on the floor, plus a rucksack on the seats and a life raft lurks under the seats to the rear.
With the interior complete the roof can be fitted and that’s the capsule closed up for good.
Here’s how the cargo area turned out…

Fantastic RAF Chinook, super detailed and great guide for my current Italeri 1/48 Chinook HC2 project. Can only wish I had that talent for building!

The final build is fantastic; I’m so pleased to come across this, as I got this kit today. I’m so excited to start, but even more so with your guidance; great work.
