Bits and Bobs
Now it’s back to those ejection seats. I did consider using some resin replacements for these but in the end I decided to use the kit ones just to show how the model looks from the box. I painted them up, placed the decals straps in position and gave everything a dark wash. They aren’t great but when placed in the cockpit and the canopy is in position they are passable but a resin replacement would be nice.
The kit contains the diesel tank for the smoke but it also conveniently has an Aden cannon presumably for a later boxing. This proved to be quite fortuitous as the version I was going to model had this cannon fitted.
Those of you that have looked at one of my builds before will know that I have a thing about figures and bases. This build was no different and I sourced a nice resin pilot form Mastercasters and made a base from a Tesco chopping board.
