Painting continued…
The wheel wells were given a dark wash and the wiring was picked out to give some interest. The airbrake can be fitted open or closed. I fitted mine shut and the fit is excellent. I then added all the aerial and other bits and bobs. Got to say even though it was a pain to paint it is starting to look good.
The Canopy
The internal partition was placed in the pre masked and painted canopy and then it was dipped in Klear to fix it in place. The kit decals contain MDC decals for the canopy and I must admit to being a bit sceptical of these but they settle down well with some micro sol and do look rather good. Once dry the canopy was again dipped in Klear to seal the decals in and reduce the visibility of the MDC carrier film.
