Conclusion
Flat out, this is not an easy model to finish: The poor instructions, bad fitting joints and the few inaccurate details were tolerable, but it just tried my patience in finishing the project. This kit fought me from start to finish with little things that I had to stop and fix. Little things like having to enlarge every mounting hole on parts were irritating.
However, with persistence, I am rewarded with a nice model of a SEPECAT Jaguar with an exposed engine. I am particularly happy with my scratch building results to embellish the engine and the engine cover panel, the landing gears and doors, and the open wing panel. These details really help make my model interesting.
There, I did it!
