On with the build…
Cockpit
I started work on the lovely cockpit, which is included in the MiniArt kit. I painted the major components in a Bronze Green from the AK real colour range of paints, then picked out the detail in AK Gen 3 black.
I chose not to use the photo etch seatbelts as I’m not a massive fan of painting them! The moulded on seatbelts are extremely nice so a shame not to use them.
The instrument panel is also very well detailed and there is a choice of a full decal for the instruments or separate decals for each bezel. I decided on the full sheet for mine, as my eyes aren’t what they used to be.
All the components were fairly easy to fit together but a little persuasion is required to make some parts fit snugly.
