Into the fuselage
The cockpit and separate side walls locate well into the front fuselage and then it’s out with the lead air gun pellets and plasticine to add as much weight as you can to prevent this kit tail-sitting. The instructions indicate 3g will be sufficient and I’ve no idea how much I have added but it feels like it will be sufficient. I will be doing the finger-balance test with the main wings and tailplane temporarily added to check out the likelihood of the kit tail-sitting, so watch this space for that.
While the fuselage dries, the pain wings can be prepared and the separate upper and lower wing halves join well but make sure you add the nice wheel wells before closing the wings. They are left taped to dry have secured with liquid poly glue.
When the wings are fully dry – I left mine for 24 hours, all the joins can be sanded. I added the engine tail cones when I glued the main wing sections together and they fitted pretty well. All the sanding finished there were a few panel lines that needed to be reinstated. I used my trusted method of sticky Dymo take to use as a secure rule and my Olfa P-Cutter to scribe new panel lines (See your Technique Bank).
