The ejection seat is a one-piece moulding but I did replace the yellow/black handle with wire from Little Cars. It is just then a case of carefully painting it up and adding some more placards.
From my previous build I remember the intakes being a bit problematic but this time I had no issues – I couldn’t have read the instructions properly back then!! Just remember the intakes aren’t glued into the front fuselage slots – they just float in place and when the wings are attached they will locate themselves correctly. First minor mistake here by me was to follow the instructions (unusual for me I know) and paint the intakes interior aluminium – it should be white on this aircraft but I discovered this to late so I`ll just live with it as you can hardly see down them.
The rear fuselage and wing can then be added – no issues here and very quickly in this build you have what is very obviously a Hunter. One thing that was unique to “Miss Demeanour” was the majority of the panel lines were `puttied` in prior to painting to give a smooth surface over the most of the airframe. This was done with a combination of Humbrol filler and Mr Surface 500 and a lot of sanding!!
