Summary
Although this model is not one of my best efforts, due to those leaking masks, this is not the fault of Special Hobby. It is a low pressure moulding so a bit more effort is required to put it together. Everything fits though (except the engine mounts), and the recessed panel lines are nicely done. What we have is another model of an important aircraft that the mainstream manufacturers will never produce. Thanks to the limited run makers we now can build models of the lesser known – even esoteric – aircraft to put on our shelves. I am grateful to SH in particular for this model of an aircraft which featured in many of my late father’s photographs taken when he was serving in the Western Desert. And what a great looking aeroplane it was!
