The cabin seats, floor and bulkheads were dry brushed with light grey and edges were then dry brushed with aluminium. Everything was then given a coat of MRP-048 Super Clear Gloss Varnish In preparation for a brown wash 76.514. Once the brown wash had dried, any excess was removed using a cotton bud. Then MRP-127 Super Clear Matt Varnish was added to seal the paint work. The cabin was then assembled to the port fuselage. The fit was really good which enabled the parachute static line to be added using 0.1mm jewellers wire. Remembering to remove the inside masks of the windows the two fuselage halves were then cemented together. On a model of this size it can always be a bit of a challenge. The fit was very good, although the underside central panels, despite Trumpeter adding a strengthening bar was slightly warped and needed some off cut spruce to add some strength to it.

Excellent build and finish Richard. I have so wanted this kit in my stash and to build it. I am even more determined to add it to my collection after seeing this one.
