Fuselage and Engines
The fuselage was joined together making sure no more parts were to be added or holes drilled and unfortunately I had to use some filler as it wasn’t a perfect fit.
I didn’t waste too much time on the engines as I have purchased intake and exhaust covers but the intake trunks are some of the best I have seen in any scale and have rivet detail down each side, wonderful! The engines had resin exhausts fitted but the original builder had damaged some of the blades and this is why I opted to use blanking plugs.
The pods in which the engines are fitted inside also incorporate the wheel wells and these are also resin upgrades, these with some minor fettling fitted ok in the end.
The engine pods were fitted on either side of the fuselage and secured with tape whilst the glue dried.
