Powerplants
The engines are models within themselves. Beautifully rendered and a perfect fit as with the rest of the kit to date. Parts are spread across 2 duplicate sprues so both built side by side.
Painting is done section by section as their fortunately split in the right places
I tried the AK new Metaliser paints and they worked just as well as Alclad but without the smell which was a bonus. Aluminium and Dark Aluminium to give a bit of depth and matt black and dark grey for the cylinders.
Rods and extras were painted then added to each unit
