Assembly continues in the cockpit
You should be able to see from these photos that I have added a seat harness from small strips of metal foil painting them a buff colour – I’ll have a think about shoulder straps later – I want to do a bit more digging on references before I add them. The level of detail is pretty good as you add the small levers and other small detail in this area the cockpit takes on a nice busy feel.
Weathering is just with an oil wash of Burnt Sienna/Raw Umber with some highlighting using a graphite pencil and Citadel Colours for spot detail colour. The cockpit tub is attached to the main aircraft frame – so far so good.
