Onto the lower wing… be careful!
The large separate lower wing section attaches to the underside of the fuselage and is now in place as you can clearly see. On close inspection notice the gap that exists at the front leading edge and underside front edge – a definite step here. This does seem at odds with the fit generally and on looking into the cockpit and read wall I noticed that the rear bulkhead seemed to be sitting very slightly forward – meaning the headrest is sitting slightly forward of what is probably meant to be its true location. Not sure at al how this happened but I suspect that it hasn’t helped everything line up.
I did my best to start correcting the line-up of the joins when attaching the upper wing sections that fitted perfectly – holding everything together with Tamiya tape to dry.
