Summary
Overall not a perfect kit (but is there ever) but far from terrible in terms of buildability. The subject is great and with some basic modelling skills all the issues I have highlighted are easily rectified. The PE in my opinion is essential to add detail to the cockpit and more importantly to the ejection seat. The kit decals perform very well and there are also now various aftermarket options available for those post-war aircraft in colourful squadron markings.
Would I build one again, yes, but having seen the finished kit I really want to do the Fisher F8 conversion to the HK Models 1:32 Meteor first so watch out for that sometime in the future.
