Concluding comments
I really enjoyed this one. As I said at the start, it was going to be pretty much a straightforward build mostly from the box as I like the aircraft and colour scheme, so I think I’ve achieved that. It’s a good model but still those deep panel lines look too stark really and you could fill them as I did on my Canberra PR.Mk.9 build a while back – your choice. The B-57G certainly looks very mean and ready for action in this Vietnam guise. It’s a shame that some of the smaller features aren’t supplied in the box. I’m glad to have a clear desk now as I’m reaching for that Italeri Mirage F1 with French brown camo markings and Pavla resin cockpit that’s next up, so do keep an eye on Build Now and What’s New for the first instalment on that one!
Until next time…
Geoff
