Into the build…
The idea here is to complete this project with two; maybe three updates at most – this first instalment dealing with construction – surprise, surprise!
What I like about the interior of this Mk.22 Spit is the level of detail; as you can see here, there are some nice parts like: floor, side walls, armour plating behind the seat and rear bulkhead. All I did was add some small lightening holes in the latter to create a bit more interest and add some seat belts from small lengths of lead foil. The seat also has a cushion fashioned from Blu-Tack and the seat back had pencil marks to simulate the cushioned back seen on many Spit seats.
The main instrument panel is provided as a decal and this works well in the scale.
