With Toni Roura (AMMO, MIg Jimenez)
Weathered winter camouflage makes for a fun project and a striking result. In today’s new video, Toni Roura demonstrates the entire process of painting and weathering winter camouflage on a Tamiya Kübelwagen using the new ATOM paints, exclusively by AMMO.
Throughout the video, Toni shows each step in detail, starting with the application of primer and base coats, as well as detail painting. He then moves on to creating a realistically worn white-wash camouflage by combining ATOM Washable White and AMMO Scratches Effects. The highly weathered effect is then further enhanced by adding streaks of white with Oilbrusher White.
With the camouflage completed, Toni demonstrates how different enamel washes were used to add definition, chromatic variety, and dirt accumulations. He then continues with the addition of rust effects using Enamel Streaking Rust. Toni shows how he added winter mud to the vehicle by combining an acrylic mud texture with Heavy Earth Enamel, before applying the final weathering effects with enamels.
