The wheels were the next install but here we again had a problem as the instruction sheet does not show the axles for the idler wheels. On searching the sprues two sets were found of which only one set fitted. These were positioned and all wheels were dry-fitted.
The tracks were now assembled with Tamiya thin liquid glue. Starting with the drive sprockets the tracks were fitted around the teeth and the run was made up for the top section of the return roller and joined to the track fitted over the drive wheel. The bottom run was then made and again joined to the drive sprocket. The last section was around the idler and then joined to the top run and the bottom.
Before some paint was added the turret was dry fitted and the partly finished gun was put into the turret to get an idea of what the finished mode would look like.
This brings to an end the build and so it’s time to wash the model and sub-assemblies prior to painting.
