The surface was given another AK wash of brown, stippled into the surface again, this time building up the effect around the hatches, by multiple stippled washes, and pin washes, allowing one to dry, before re-applying, until the desired effect was achieved.
The hull was dry-brushed, with steel, to give the worn effect, and grey paint chips applied where desired.
The jacking block was fitted to the hull, and toned down a little, and the machine gun painted, and fitted into the ball.
