Like the Shilka kit, the T-90A has torsion bar suspension. Unlike the Shilka build however, these torsion bars are supplied as full width which results in more flex in the suspension. Be careful though, this construction is fragile. I have to admit to breaking the rear torsion bar later in the build. This couldn’t be fixed as it was hidden by the construction of the engine bay and screens! The front two and the rear torsion bars construction is further complicated by additional parts of the suspension. The tiny linkage arm is not glued but just a push fit. No need to worry about it all falling apart though as it is rotated and secured in position adjacent to the hull.
Once in position, the torsion bar is secured with liquid cement and left to dry for at least 24hrs ensuring a secure fit prior to fitting the wheels.
A quick check to see if the axles are in line.
