The floor pan and roll cage
The next stage was to start building the floor pan, roll cage and interior. I assembled the right hand side of the roll cage and floor pan first. Next, the assembly was sprayed with primer and a coat of Tamiya XF-5 Red. The roll cage protective padding was picked out using Tamiya XF-1 Black.
The seat, which I had pre-painted and applied the kit seat belt decal to, was installed next. It was then followed by the dashboard and steering wheel that I had previously painted.
The final parts of the roll cage that had previously assembled and painted were then attached to the main floor pan assembly.
