Conclusions
Although a very old kit by today’s standards the fit and level of detail on the parts is still very good, plus it’s the ONLY game in town. As I stated earlier the kit depicts Rodney when she first entered service with the Royal Navy in the late 1920’s. You can also use the kit to build her sister ship Nelson for this period as they were virtually identical, the main difference was their masts and position of yardarms on them. If you want to bring the kit up to WW2 appearance it is possible but requires some scratch building.
I really like this kit and although not perfect, what kit is..? I’d recommend it giving it an 8 out of 10 overall.
