First, a general comment on the kit that I didn’t make in my photo review (Here Now in-box review).
It is very impressive in the box with an enormous quantity of parts and of course even the smaller parts are large enough to handle pretty easily in this scale. One thing that surprises me in this era of sophisticated sprues is the number of fixing points on the sprues for each part – these points are quite substantial and require some energetic cleaning up. I will illuminate this as I reach the parts concerned.
On with the build, I will post each page of the instructions with the work that I carry out.
This is the floor of the carrier – all the sink marks will be invisible when everything is put in place so I won’t be filling them which as you can see, would be very tedious! For the time being I have left off some of the smaller items that could break during handling.
The vehicle sides in position This all fitted together quite well and squared up very well.
