Change is a coming… What’s new and been updated? You’ll be able to find out quicker…
This is something we have been working on for a long time, but we have to be careful about any structural changes and making sure that they are the right thing for as many of you as possible – any change costs and some changes are very expensive so please bear with us if some design and navigation changes take a while.
So what can I report? Well, plenty in fact…
Rolling ‘Just Updated’ box link on the cover of SMN
I really hope that you like this because it is designed to give you the very latest information ‘as it happens’ on what’s just been updated in Build Now. In fact Francis our web designer is increasing the number of items in the box to 6 (from 4 currently) this means you’ll have a little longer to see what’s new before an item moves down the list and drops out of this early-warning box. You will of course still be able to find your kit / project in Build Now.
What’s new in SMN
This is a great new page that’s just one click away from a box on the cover near to the main Log-in box.
This is where you’ll get a quick at-a-glance look at the very latest additions to your SMN magazine, before you log in.
There’s so much going all the time, with regular updates to all areas of www.scalemodellingnow.com that I want you to be able to quickly see what’s new. Everything you see here is likely to have been added in the last 2 weeks, so it’s a great place to regularly check in as a first port of call, to see what’s new, and then go straight there.
To see any of the items on this page all you’ll need to do is simply click on any item to see it and you go directly there (via a short pit stop to log-in of course – or to subscribe if you’re not already a subscriber).

…to make it easier for you to get to the project you want to see. This is a huge structural change but now SMN has grown so much we think you’ll find the navigation easier and more intuitive if we make this happen.
Is there anything else you have ideas for in terms of improving the look, feel and navigation in SMN? Content even? Please tell us, just e-mail me directly at: geoff@scalemodellingnow.com Thanks.
