Initial Assessment
For those who like to keep track of their kits and all manner of other modelling-related stuff, here is an option that allows you to record your kits by scale, type, manufacturer of kit or the real thing, to mention just a few (you’ll be able to add other fields in due course).
Many of these options come with a drop down menu, allowing you to fill-in as much detail as you require. There is an option to have the accessories associated with the kit to be combined with the kit record and as a separate item – a very useful feature. Another feature is the ability to include images on the record once these are uploaded into the gallery.
As with all database systems, what you put in is what you get out but the operating system is very good.

I have played with this and found it easy to use and customise to ones own use.
User guide…
The user guide is pretty comprehensive, even to the point of advising to back up your data which many forget to do with perhaps the loss of all your hard work.
Conclusions
For those who want to keep a track of their models, or for that matter a small model shop, who haven’t got the time or knowledge to put together a database, this could be the answer to your prayers.
There is scope for a massive amount of information to be entered into this system with its record sheets, search filters and colour options. Having built a database for myself, which is much smaller than this, I can appreciate the work which has gone into creating this system and if you are looking to save time and want to compile a comprehensive listing of kits, accessories and pictures this could well be the way to go.
This is not a free item so be prepared to pay for this system which, considering the amount of effort put into it, is not unreasonable.
I enjoyed playing with it to find out what it would do and felt after a few hours that there was more to find.
