This kit dates to 2013 and the new-tool release then by Kinetic – it was a decent kit then and is today. The main strengths of this kit are that it has the dropped flaps option that’s typical of just about all Hawk aircraft when parked and it certainly adds to the impressive look of the type.
Additionally, you get a photo-etch fret that mainly has items for the twin MB ejection seats.
The other real strength is the quality of the tooling, Kinetic captured those dome-head rivets in just the right places. Add to that the decent cockpit detail and I think Revell will have a winner with this release.
I have something special planned for this kit and I have already made a start on the build, so keep an eye out in Aircraft Build-Now for that and, of course, when the build is finished it will go to the usual place for completed Revell build aircraft projects: Aircraft-Finished Now-Revell.
