The sprues; Wings are superb, just look at that detail both recessed and raised.
Same with the fuselage sections. The fabric effect is very nice.
Undercarriage again looks nicely detailed
And the 2 detail sprues again have a nice appearance to them
The only thing we need to remember here is this is a limited run kit. There’s no locating pins and there’ll be quite a bit of clean up with quite a few mould lines visible.
To go with the sprues there’s 8 resin pieces that include the undercarriage bay, wheels, exhausts, seat and a few small detail items.
Detail looks good and nice and crisp. It maybe a bit of a challenge removing some of the more delicate pieces as they’re packed onto the block quite tightly.
The undercarriage bay is very nice and with a paint and wash should come up a treat.
Clear parts have good transparency and look fine. The canopy maybe a bit too thick to pose in the open position but we’ll find out during the build.
Summary
This looks to be a very nice kit. Not for the novice but anyone with a few kits under their belt should be OK. It’s not going to fall together like a Tamiya or Hasegawa and they’ll be a lot of test-fitting and fettling but it’s a Hurricane and in this scale there’s not many to chose from.
