Handles levers and other bits
These seem to be miscellaneous items like handles levers for the seat, I am not sure what the 12 rods are for as they do not seem to me to be in the instructions. They all look the same so they are not the varying lengths for the cockpit frame. I will take a beauty shot of them if they are unused at the end!

The Bristol Jupiter engine is beautifully cast; sadly, most of it is concealed by the bodywork and exhaust collector. Ah, I think I have discovered what the 12 rods in the other bits section (above) are for. They are the valve rods. I can now see the springs moulded into one end of them.
Cockpit
The frame is very delicate and this is assembled before installing all the cockpit paraphernalia. Included in this section are the two exhaust pipes, the ends, of which, are hollowed out to scale.
This is the only brass in the kit. For me it is like a holiday after all the sheets of brass I have been dealing with recently – great!
The instrument panel is a sandwich of brass resin and film. The back of the panel has the rear of the instruments moulded in. I am not sure if one will be able to see the wiring. A test fit will show that.
